How to post a job
Advertise a vacancy and collect applications.
Before you start
- Job title and a description of the work
- Town, and whether it is on-site, remote or hybrid
- Full-time, part-time, seasonal, contract or internship
- Salary range — advertising it gets substantially more applicants, and hiding it mostly filters out the people who can afford to be choosy
- Whether you can sponsor a work permit, and whether students are welcome
Work permits and students
These two fields matter more here than anywhere else. Applicants filter on them. Answering honestly saves you interviews with people who cannot legally take the job, and saves them the trip.
Steps
- Open Post a job.
- Fill in the details.
- Choose how you want applications: through the site, by email, or to an external link.
- Submit.
What happens next
A moderator reviews it, usually within a few hours. Once live, applications appear in your employer dashboard and you are notified.
