Claiming a business already listed
Take control of a listing someone else created.
If your business is already in the directory, claim it. Do not create a duplicate — two entries split your reviews and confuse customers.
Steps
- Find your business in the directory.
- Choose Is this your business? or Claim.
- Tell us your role and how we can verify it.
- Submit.
How we verify
Usually a phone call to the number already published for the business, or an email to a matching domain. If neither is possible we may ask for a document showing your connection to it.
This is deliberately a little awkward. The whole point of a claim is that it stops someone else taking over your listing.
What happens next
Approved claims give you the full owner portal: edit details, add photos, set hours, reply to reviews and see your visitor numbers.
If someone else has already claimed it and you believe that is wrong, contact us.
