Changing your password

If you know your current password

Security settings, enter the old and the new. Changing it signs you out everywhere else — deliberately, since the usual reason for changing a password is that someone else may have it.

If you have forgotten it

1. On the sign-in page, choose Forgotten password.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Open the link we send. It is valid for one hour.
4. Set a new password.

If the email does not arrive

• Check spam.
• Check the address is the one you registered with.
• If you registered with Google you may have no password at all — use Continue with Google instead.
• Still nothing after ten minutes: contact us.

Choosing one

Length beats complexity. Three unrelated words are stronger than P@ssw0rd! and far easier to remember. Do not reuse a password from another site.
